ABOUT US
-
I started BeyondFour Foundation in 2019, while working full-time in amateur and grassroots sports at the AAU National Office.
During that time, I noticed a gap in resources and programming dedicated to underserved communities in Central Florida.
I named it BeyondFour because that's exactly what I wanted it to be about: helping young people build a life beyond four walls, four years, and four quarters — beyond whatever limits sports, school, or circumstance try to put on what's possible for them.
What started as a single basketball clinic for girls — Keep It PlayHER — has grown into four pillars: Athletic Development, Mental & Physical Wellness, Education & Career Pathways, and Community Impact. 7 years later, we continue to reach thousands of young people across Central Florida and Northwest Florida.

BeyondFour Foundation is dedicated to empowering youth and transforming communities through inclusive sports, wellness, and educational programs — building confidence, resilience, and opportunity both on and off the field.
-
Our focus is organized around four pillars — Athletic Development, Mental & Physical Wellness, Education & Career Pathways, and Community Impact.
Together, they shape well-rounded young people: physically skilled, mentally resilient, academically prepared, and rooted in community.
Every BeyondFour program — from Keep It PlayHER to Beyond Four Years to Beyond STEM — lives inside one of these four pillars, turning sports participation into a foundation for lifelong growth.

BeyondFour Foundation shares its name and leadership with Nine28, a group of ventures led by Asia L. McMillan. However, BeyondFour is its own independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, governed and funded separately.
When you support BeyondFour, your donation goes directly to our programs and the young people we serve, not to any other part of the Nine28 family.
